About us

A club for those who explore, document and inspire.

Our story begins in the sea

Ocean Ambassadors Club grew out of a group of divers already working close to Voice of the Ocean. We wanted an association of our own — close to the water, close to the members — with the same conviction: where knowledge of the ocean grows, real commitment follows.

We are not a commercial dive company, and we do not take on assignments. Our work is driven by genuine passion, knowledge and a deep interest in what lies beneath the surface — and by a desire to share that world with others. Everything we do is carried out on our own time and without financial compensation. We are proud of the knowledge, experience and commitment we bring, but our time and expertise also have value.

We do it because we believe the underwater world is worth exploring, protecting and sharing.

The Association organises expeditions and activities that generate knowledge, images and documentation of the marine environment, and fosters a community of skilled, purpose-driven people dedicated to that mission. Members may — entirely voluntarily and never as an obligation — contribute their material to Ocean Archive, where it is made available to researchers, universities and similar organisations.

Membership enables individuals — including those employed by supporting or commercial partners — to take part as members of a voluntary, self-governing association, not as employees.

Innovative

We try new methods — underwater documentation, transect filming and data collection that partners and researchers can actually use.

Human

Our community is built on trust, openness and respect between members, participants and partners.

Dedicated

Contribution is the foundation of membership. The ocean needs ambassadors who come back, season after season.
